  • 6 vials of Sculptra spaced out over 3 sessions. Each session must be spaced out 4-6 weeks apart.

  • A week before your Sculptra treatment, avoid NSAIDs and herbal supplements. Refrain from drinking alcoholic beverages for at least 24 hours before and after your Sculptra session. This will help prevent excessive bruising while the filler sets in the treated area.

    Avoid skin products that may irritate the skin at least 2 to 3 days before and after a Sculptra treatment. Examples of these are products containing tretinoin, retinol, glycolic acid, benzoyl peroxide, or hydroquinone.

    On the day of your treatment, do not apply any makeup or products to the treatment areas.

  • A Sculptra session begins with applying topical anesthesia on the selected area for treatment. If the patient’s pain tolerance is low, it may be necessary to use local anesthesia.

    Once the anesthesia takes effect, Sculptra will be injected into the selected area for treatment. Expect a mild pushing and pulling sensation as the dermal filler settles in. The whole treatment should last about 1 hour.
